| Icaryn 2 threads and 3 posts Icaryn is hidden in the mountains, borrowing its shape from the solidity of the rocks that make up the most of it. It is one of the many places that a group of wolves called home. In the middle of the area, which resembles a city - state, is a clearing carved into a mountain made of a stone circle surrounding a barren floor, which was the place for wolves of the pack to congregate and where meetings were held. There is also a great bridge made from the bones of a large skeleton looming over the clearing, connecting the caves that made abodes for the wolves and the largest cave, which served as a ceremonial place and throne room. | |
| Obsidian Tower 0 threads and 0 posts A tall, spiraling prosthesis exiting the earth can be seen from almost anywhere in the lands. Its daunting, cracked figure reaching for the heavens creates a gloomy feeling, the ugly and cracked surface reminiscent of something dead. A tower not unlike that of Babylon, one might assume that the work of stone was cast down by the muses, beaten and bruised in their anger. Still, it remains a highly visited monument in the area with numerous wolves often taking the time to make a trip up the treacherous, spiraling path that coils around the mountain tower. There are also caves of many sizes in the sides of it, giving the impression of being pecked by a woodpecker. | |
| Corridor of Kings 1 threads and 4 posts Holding half of the lands in a suffocating embrace, the mountain chain affectionately referred to as the Corridor of Kings cling tightly to the exterior of the southeast border. It neatly curves around, holding the wolves and other creatures in, but also giving them a place to play. The scraggly peaks, incredibly short in comparison to the Obsidian Tower, go up and down, in and out, in a wave of dark, stony color. There are tales of this place and the caves, some of which hold shrines to muses, but some which also function as homes. | |

| Niflheim 0 threads and 0 posts Far under the ground there exists a extremely large network of catacombs that make up what the wolves refer to as Niflheim. It is a damp and dark place and still many love to brave the trip to see its wonders, if they know where it is. Well hidden holes to the surface of the earth let in light, illuminating the bluish green walls enough to see. Also in the caves are large crystal like growths growing off the walls that reflect light similar to a mirror, even occassionally - when the light hits just right - making a rainbow due to the light creating a prismatic effect. The main entrance to Niflheim is largely hidden in Aurius Hollow, only a select few knowing its true location. | |
| Aurius Hollow 2 threads and 0 posts The hollow of Aurius is a clearing in the middle of a quite large grove of exotic trees that are very unlike any of the other trees you'll find. The clearing has a red colored floor, the earth's color of below revealed clearly, for the trees do not shed their trees, but retain their green year round. It is where the original pack of wolves that discovered the magic and muses lived, although the oracle they discovered doesn't exist here, but in the pack lands of Nabudis. The pack is no longer together today, but the hollow is named after them. The entrance to Niflheim, the first ceremonial shrine dedicated to the muses, lies within, but is largely unknown to any. Still, wolves that are told the entrance exists search for it avidly. | |
| Wall of Shards 1 threads and 0 posts The wall of shards lies in a desert land, barren and clear of any markers or defining features. It is the place where the magical shards of old, dead wolves go. They glimmer and float in the air in a long procession resembling a wall, though the wall is merely an expression, for a wolf may pass through them if he wants. It is a graveyard of sorts, a sacred land where wolves travel to pay their respects to the wolves they knew. | |

| Nix Rose Pond 2 threads and 72 posts The Nix Rose pond is full of water lilies - water lilies are called nix roses in Scandinavia - floating on the top of a clear surface of water, surrounded by lush willow trees and other plant life. Although it is referred to as a pond, the title is deceiving, because it is quite large for a pond. A branch of the river trickles into the pond, creating a slow, flourishing current underneath, enough to lull one to sleep, but not to overtake any creature. All of this feeds the thick foliage that rests on all sides of the water. | |
| Orannis Vale 1 threads and 0 posts The valley is a sort of middle way between all of the pack lands, a no man's land if you will. There are various hills and indentations in the landscape, all generally covered with a long, bluish green grass, although there is still the creepy, scabby looking hill every now and again. The river trickles through it more slowly than anywhere else, splitting in about the middle of the valley, heading to a mysterious hole in the stone covered ground near the wall of shards and continuing through the mountains at the other end. The only really defining feature of the valley is a large, whitish monolith, rumored to be the oracle, though the story says that the source of the magic was in a tree, rather than stone. Still the monument is a very interesting sight again the green plains. | |
| Nabudis 0 threads and 0 posts Nabudis is an enchanting place of the trees, located in the Empyreal Woodland. Ancient trees made of large, twisting trunks accentuated with gnarled growths surround the center clearing. The clearing simply consists of an earthen floor and a large, scarred tree stump, which, although it would be unknown to any wolves currently alive, is actually the remains of the broken oracle. The surrounding trees are extremely large in width, and some are hollowed out, much like caves, to create room for wolves to live. A tall, deformed tree that really consists of three trunks melded together serves as the sacred ceremonial place of the pack. There are multiple flat levels to the tree that create places for the throne, a lookout, and a ceremonial shrine. | |
| Empyreal Woodland 1 threads and 1 posts A thick safehaven, the woods are a place of peace and tranquility. Wolves often travel here to enjoy the sanctuary of wild fireflies that can be seen even during the day in certain places due to the light of the sun being blocked by the trees. Most light that manages to make it through the cracks in the branches is thin, giving the place an ethereal look. Everything in this diminished, but intriguing light, seems to glow with a faint aura, providing many an optical illusion to those passing through. | |

| Yaxuna 0 threads and 0 posts The packlands of Yaxuna are a strange creation. They are situated deep in a crater that is on the border of the Spira Plains and North Shore. A large portion of the crater's wall is solid ground and rock that is very steep and it is hard to access the hole from, but the side bordering on the shore is a smooth incline of sand. Large burrows serve as dens for the wolves and are mostly situated in the solid wall, the largest of these being used for as a ceremonial place for the leaders. The deepest part of the crater, below the wall of holes where the dens are, is where the pack meetings are usually held. | |
| Spira Plains 0 threads and 0 posts The flat lands painted in a creamy, yellow color of flowing grasses and blue skies bring many wolves to the area. The beautiful landscape with natural dips and hills carved from its surface makes it a perfect place for star gazing and keeping track of the time of year. Festivals in tribute to the muses are often held here; where the picture of the muses is clear in the sky during each muse's time of year. Ideal for holding large congregations of wolves makes it also common for gatherings of other sorts to be held in the fields, usually that of feasts, the pup watchers tending their keep, and the meetings of the different leaders when they come together to discuss the fate of the lands. | |
| North Shore 0 threads and 0 posts The North Shore creates a natural border along the sea that runs for miles and miles, fitting between the sea and the Spira Plains. Full of curvy dunes and low spots, it is mostly sandy, with rocks protruding from it when you reach the cliffs of Arsandor and the occasional sprout of dune grass on the large mounds of sand. It is a peaceful place, especially in the night time when a light breeze passes through and the reflection of the moon is clear upon the surface of the water. | |
| Arsandor 1 threads and 0 posts Arsandor is located around a single cliff protruding from the surface of the earth around the shore. A constant flow of water escapes a hole in the cliff resembling the mouth of a cave, splashing down onto the ground below in a pool that connects with the river. It is something to marvel at, because its being so close to the shore and sea makes it hard to quite place where the water is coming from and the exact location of the waterfall's source is a mystery. There aren't any caves or hollowed trees, the place for their dens being the holes they dig in the ground amidst the green grasses where the plains meet the sands of the shore. Their meeting place is a simple circle lined with stones, with a large stone in the center for the leader. | |
